LuLé's Commitment to Crib Safety
At LuLé, we take safety very seriously. This is why we have spent years researching the very best products and finishes, and designing (and testing) a safe, beautiful crib design.
How do we make our cribs?
Our cribs are designed and built according to Health Canada Safety Standards, and our cribs have been third-party tested to ensure that we meet these standards.
Our hand-made cribs are built with solid wood, assembled with a minimum amount of food-grade wood glue, and finished with milk paint and/or linseed oil and natural pine resin. That's it!
Our crib slats being tested for strength at INOVEM, Victoriville, QC.
Safety regulations and product safety data sheets (SDS)
Every so often, someone will ask us why we don't have any "green" certifications. The simple answer is, we don't need them. We can provide all the safety data sheets (i.e., third party verifications of product safety) for everything we use to create our beautiful cribs. And because we are using the very best products, we have nothing to hide!
